ELIN PARKER GANSCHOW

ELIN PARKER GANSCHOW

Owner

Welcome to our website!  I grew up in ranching and chose it as a vocation after obtaining a B.S. in Animal Science from Colorado State University.  The guest ranch was developed as a way to connect the dots of an enterprising spirit and a love of people-horses-land and cattle.  I raised two sons and two daughters who also have pursued agriculture. I love seeing people enjoy and appreciate the ranch my parents were wise enough to buy and which I have enjoyed since 1960.  I hope to see you at the ranch!

Guest Ranch Manager & Guide

Howdy, I’m Nicole. I met Elin when I was 12, begging to ride her horses. After I earned my place with her, she took me under her wing and has taught me all I know about the ranch over the last 10 years. Music Meadows has changed my life and given me a huge passion for agriculture and people. Come see our amazing views and ride with me. I promise I will share my passion and teach you about our way of life.

Ranch Manager

Welcome to all who visit the Wet Mountain Valley or Music Meadows Ranch. My name is Rhoda. I was born and raised on a ranch here in the valley. I have been involved in agriculture all of my life. My accomplishments are a result of my parents teachings, hard work and experiences. I tend to cattle, irrigating, care taking of hay ground and pastures, not to mention many other responsibilities on Music Meadows Ranch.

Ranch Cook

I have been blessed with several outstanding cooks in my life as my mentors. Men and women who love the art, the kitchen, and the recipes that they have created.
My collection of recipes comes from my family of course, friends specialties, chefs who were willing to share their secrets and connoisseurs to critique. My specialty is Mexican style foods but I like to cook chicken fried steak and flatbread pizzas too.I enjoy preparing southern style dishes,American comfort meals including everything from steak to chip beef. Food preparation has provided me not only with an income but a lifetime of enjoyment. I have been cooking professionally for 50 years and owned my own businesses in the food industry for nearly 30. I am proud to be a part of the Music meadows Ranch team. I’m looking forward to preparing meals for all who visit the ranch.

Hi, my name is Lisa Frank. I came to the Wet Mountain Valley in 1996. I grew up with horses and after college returned to them as soon as I could. I met Elin and her family that same year. We have been bound up in each other’s lives off and on ever since. Today I ride for the Music Meadow Brand and when you come to the Ranch, if I’m your guide, I will share all my favorite memories with you. I hope to meet you one day and swap stories from the back of a good horse.

Hello, my name is Rich. With a long history of passion for both people and horses, Music Meadows Ranch was the perfect fit for me. Let me and my teammates share our knowledge, experience, and the love for this working cattle ranch with you. The result will be nothing less than memorable. For all of us here at the ranch there is no such thing as a stranger. A stranger is merely a friend whom we’ve not met, yet. I look forward to meeting you….my friend.
